Alena Zweben, ND, is a naturopathic physician as well as the medical director of Market Place Naturopathic in Seattle, Washington. Dr. Zweben provides compassionate, patient-centered care to patients with complex health conditions — including mold toxicity, Lyme disease, post COVID-19 complications, and mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS).
When Dr. Zweben was diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2011, she worked hard to gradually regain her health while experiencing various challenges, including acute renal failure. Using her personal experiences, she created Market Place Naturopathic, a place where patients could receive understanding and thoughtful care for their complex health issues.
Dr. Zweben attended the University of Oregon for her undergraduate studies, graduating with her degree in human physiology and chemistry. She then completed her naturopathic doctor (ND) education at Bastyr University. After graduating, she went on to receive her residency training with world-renowned physician Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt.
Additionally, she has trained with Dr. Ritchie Shoemaker for chronic inflammatory response syndrome (CIRS) treatment, and Dr. John Lyftogt in the use of perineural injection therapy (PIT) for the treatment of neuropathy.
She has extensive training in chronic diseases, with over 10 years of experience in helping patients recover from debilitating conditions. At Market Place Naturopathic, Dr. Zweben utilizes the latest alternative medicine techniques to promote healing and wellness, including pharmaceutical and nutraceutical medications, botanical medicine, as well as neural and intravenous (IV) therapies.
Dr. Zweben is truly dedicated to providing the most advanced treatments for her patients, drawing from her expertise in integrative medicine. She has served patients from all around the world at Market Place Naturopathic.
