Dr. Sarah Klein ND
Dr. Klein received her doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University and is a licensed doctor in the state of Washington. She completed her undergraduate degree in Zoology and Chemistry at North Dakota State University. She also has advanced training and certification in Traditional Western herbalism, counseling, homeopathy, biofeedback and various somatic therapies including craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation. She is currently completing her certification in body psychotherapy, a form of therapy that emphasizes the interaction of the body and mind as a functional unity and which utilizes movement techniques, breathing, and touch to aid a variety of health concerns.
Dr. Klein partners with her patients in ways that help them to understand and metabolize unprocessed life events, work through limiting patterns of behavior, and cultivate greater
capacity for emotional and self-awareness. Using somatic therapy, body-based inquiry, guided imagery, and other techniques from her naturopathic training, Dr. Klein helps patients safely explore areas of reactivity, resistance, pain and trauma that can be held in the body. She also applies her skill as a manual therapist in the use of visceral manipulation to restore proper functioning of the organs of the body. Dr. Klein approaches health from a holistic lens, recognizing the body as a psychosomatic unity. She brings genuine care and compassion to the patients at Market Place Naturopathic and is committed to ensuring a safe and nurturing healing environment.
